The North Sydney Community Centre will tomorrow celebrate its 50-year anniversary with free music, food and activities for adults and children. During its life the centre has hosted classes on just about everything and this is reflected through Saturdays offering. Drop by for cooking demonstrations with Chef Luca Ciano, performances from musicians Sentosa Trio & The Mighty Bullfrogs, art workshops, a photo booth, pottery making, jumping castle and Zumba dancing. Plus the kids will love the Rainbow Fairy doing magic, games, singing & dancing, and bubble catching. As a shout out to their foundation years there will be a groovy 70s theme and locals are encouraged to rock their best, or perhaps dagiest, 70s get ups. Festivities kick off at 10:00AM and run through to 4:00PM. On Sunday, the Naremburn Shops car park will come to life for the Tastes of Naremburn Festival. From 1:00-4:00PM the community can enjoy live music, plenty of activities for kids and market stalls.
